MobiQuip XL Disability Pushchair Features

Catering to the needs of older children, the MobiQuip XL special needs stroller boasts a robust yet lightweight aluminum frame. This pushchair ensures a comfortable ride with puncture-free solid tyres, maneuverable front swivel wheels, and an easily foldable umbrella-style design that enhances portability for outdoor activities. Notably adaptable, the MobiQuip XL serves as a special needs pushchair, accommodating growth up to 10 years old or a body weight of 50kg. Safety and comfort are paramount, featuring a 5-point adjustable harness, adjustable footplate for personalized leg support, and a convenient parking brake.

Larger Size

Children with special needs often need a stroller whether they are small or older. The larger than average size of the MQ XL Pushchair means this stroller can accommodate your child comfortably up to 10 years old. The extra wide seat and taller back rest will support your child through the years and its sturdy design will take a higher weight limit – up to 50kg (8 stone).

Adjustable Footplate

The adjustable footplate on the MQ XL Pushchair can be moved up or down according to the leg length of your child to provide support and comfort and stop feet from dragging on the floor. The footplate has the choice of 3 fixed position and can be removed and changed easily. There are also location slots for fitting foot straps or ankle straps (not supplied) if required.

Compact, Lightweight & Transportable

The robust but lightweight aluminium frame of the MQ XL Pushchair makes this an ideal everyday stroller. Its lightweight nature and larger wheels makes it less work to push and the easy fold umbrella system ensures that the stroller can fold down into a compact size for transportation and storage. With this in mind the MQ XL Pushchair is far easier to handle than more bulky strollers.

Comfort & Safety

The soft seat upholstery is easy to clean and additional batting on the cushioning makes the stroller extra comfortable for your child. The seat fabric wraps over the side of the stroller, both padding the metal frame and also covering the gap in the frame which some children like to put their hands through. The 5 point adjustable harness keeps children restrained and secure, giving you confidence that they are safe when out and about, with 4 positions to move up and down according to the height of your child. Dual rear wheel brakes offer an extra level of safety when parking the stroller.
